Family Bike Ride, Navy Pier, Visitors!

We went on our family bike ride on saturday! It was alot of fun! We ended up going 15 miles! We biked all the way to Millennium Park downtown. It was a beautiful ride. Lake Michigan is amazing!

Below is a picture of our new bikes!

Norah loves riding and looking all around at people and buildings.

This little wind suit that Norah is wearing was originally cousin Cora's. My dad bought it when he was in Oklahoma for training for work. It's the Oklahoma Sooners gear that we pass around for all the cousins to wear. I should have put Norah in it sooner because she is almost too big for it. I figured it was the perfect time for her to wear it in the Windy City!

On Monday we decided to go downtown and to Navy Pier. Here we are waiting for the Metra. We waited a long time because we did not have a train schedule.

We went to the Lego's store downtown and saw all of the big lego displays.
Norah was dwarfed by the Lego kids!

There was a Lego man sitting in the middle of the mall so of course we had to get a photo with him!

It took Norah forever to fall asleep while we were downtown,
but finally she did and was oh so cute!

This is a view of downtown from the back side of Navy Pier!

Today we checked our e-mail and saw that our friend Joel Daniel Harris was in town for the day with his friend Lindsey. We jumped on the Metra and spent a few hours downtown with them. We got free M&M's ice cream treats!!!

So that has been the last couple of days!

I know we have talked about this countless times on the phone, but Norah in that windsuit and helmet is one of my most favorite pics ever! It makes me laugh so hard! She is such a little cutie!

Miss you guys!

I wonder how long it will take Rachel to find out that her husband wrote a note at the bottom of her blog. (July 9, 2008) ;)
